Thanks Brandon. This is SO good! So many great lines in here. Like, "Satan is already going to attack your Pastor after he preaches, so your pastor doesn’t need to be attacked by you too!" and "We have to remember - we play a part in receiving the sermon just like the Pastor prays a part in preaching the sermon." Whenever I preach, I feel the most spiritual attack usually starting the Monday before. Then, you're right, it is a new level of exhaustion after. I have so many friends who are no longer in ministry and I think so much of it has to do with spiritual attack plus people's weighty expectations. Pastors are human too, need checked in on, and need spiritual protection. Thanks for making this message so clear!

This is a good message, and it inspired me to look up Phillip Anthony Mitchell. Listening to a sermon of his right now btw. I'd never heard of him, but if he belongs in the Keller-Piper company, he must be preaching it right.
